Journey in Faith Ministries is a nonprofit church ministry. We are a community of believers passionate about revival and restoration, creating a place where people of all ages can encounter the love of God. Our goal is to teach, guide, and walk alongside others as they progress on their journey.
Meet the Team
Jim Keeter
Executive Minister
Jim and his wife, Kim, are the founders of Journey in Faith Ministries. They have been married for over 20 years now. Jim was the administrator of JEK, inc., an architectural and landscape architectural design firm. He is the owner and broker of JK Land and Cattle Company. Jim and Kim are also the owners of Mcharp Crosses with Meaning.
He is an executive minister at Journey in Faith Ministries. His passion is ministry, he loves people and being able to support those around him. He grew up in a Christian household, but really started to grow in his walk with Christ about 25 years ago. He followed mentors such as Andrew Wommack, Kenneth Copeland, and many others. His goal is to help others grow in their relationship with Christ.
Kim Keeter
Executive Minister
Kim is Jims other half. Kim and Jim are the founders of Journey in Faith Ministries. Kim worked for different organizations in nonprofit management for over 20 years. Specifically programs that supported women and families. Kim is the owner and executive of McHarp Crosses with Meaning and Eclectic Family Farm. She is an executive minister at Journey in Faith Ministries.
The first time Kim heard God’s audible voice was in high school. After that, she was a “casual Christian” for many years. 20 years ago, in the middle of a crisis situation, she heard His voice again. That is when she really dug in and focused on her relationship with Christ. With Journey in Faith Ministries, her goal is to help people find and understand their true identity in Christ. She wants to be able to share the many prayer strategies that she has learned over the years and how they can be used. Specifically, her heart lies in working with women and families.
Mackenzie Knutson
Communications
Mackenzie is Jim and Kim’s daughter and one of the founding members of Journey in Faith Ministries. She has a degree in digital photography and is currently working towards another degree in Business Administration. Mackenzie is a photographer and has a business, Photography by Kenzie. She has also consulted with other small businesses in photography and marketing. Mackenzie married Nathan Knutson in November of 2021 and he became part of the family!
Mackenzie grew up attending church but her relationship with Christ really grew in 2019. She faced some major challenges in a bad relationship and started going to church again, trying to find herself. She got out of the unhealthy situation and spent time in the Word and growing in Christ. Her goal with Journey in Faith Ministries is to help young women find who they are in Christ and how to navigate Godly and healthy relationships.
